About Me

I’m a 21 (soon to be 22) year- old from Minnesota, and I have been wanting to be a Peace Corps Volunteer since I was 5 years old. I knew I wanted to go after college, and so at the end of my junior year I began the application process and was accepted in June, 2011. I have a degree in English from Augsburg College, and have loved traveling for a very long time; my latest expedition was a month-long ESL teaching trip to Thailand, which I loved. I can’t wait to leave for Rwanda, even though the thought of packing has become a little daunting.
